About this event
This ThinkJSOU is a discussion between Dr. Juan Garcia, JSOU Professor Strategic Influence through Information Advantage Integrated Program of Study, and Colonel Wendell Leimbach, USMC, director of the Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office (JIFCO) of the Department of Defense.
Col Leimbach discusses what Intermediate Force Capabilities are, their application across the conflict continuum, and some applications for SOF. ). Intermediate Force Capability is a relatively new term and is everything between presence and lethality. Having a conversation about Intermediate Force Capability provides the opportunity to talk about utility and tool sets that are below the level of lethal in armed conflicts.
