How Headquarters, USSOCOM Runs
Description
This courseware is exclusively for the USSOCOM Headquarters staff. The courseware prepares staff managers* to navigate the major business processes as part of a cross functional team and to leverage the relationships (“up and out” and “down and in”) that are necessary to overcome complex organizational challenges with agility, innovative action, and to generate decision advantage for the command. The seminar-styled delivery will acclimate managers to the Command Respiratory Cycle through mini-case studies (Vignettes) that attempt to present situations as a staff manger will experience it. Duration: 4 Days (Mon-Thu) Location: JSOU campus MacDill AFB, FL *See Target Audience below. Managers are people that drive a process. They are likely to be responsible to a cross-function team to resolve command issues and otherwise represent their parent J-Dir equities.

Personnel assigned to Division and Branch leadership positions at Hqs USSOCOM. Typically, military officers O6/5, Senior Enlisted E-7/9, and GS-13/15 if duties correspond. This is a joint SOF academic instructor course.
