Description. Teaching in Teams Classroom and the Microsoft 365 LMS - This course is designed to help you confidently teach in Microsoft Teams by guiding you through navigating the LMS elements, creating assignments, journals, and discussions, facilitating collaborative virtual meetings, and managing grades. This course is hands-on and is expected to take 4 hours to complete. Throughout this course, you will learn to: • Navigate your course in the Teams Classroom • Add modules and content • Create assignments, discussions and reflection journals • Link and republish to make items available to learners • Hold virtual meetings with collaborative tools • Use the Grades tab to review submissions and enter grades Duration. This course is presented over 4 hours. Learners work at their own pace to complete the learning pathway requirements. Location. The course is conducted via distance learning (DL) through the course e-Campus site.

Audience

All assigned/hired JSOU faculty members are top priority. SOF personnel teaching in any service or environment are a secondary priority. This is a joint SOF academic instructor course.

All required texts and materials will be available to the student on the course e-Campus site. Each student MUST have after hours – NOT in the classroom – access to commercial internet and the course e-Campus site throughout the course.
